Greetings, gentles! I am pleased to again welcome all those interested to practice archery and thrown weapons at Cumberland Farm this Saturday from noon to 3pm. Cumberland Farm is located just south of Tumwater, approximately 20 minutes from the location of fighter practice, but at a private address. If you need the address please fill out the form on this page to request the address. At the Farm you will find the range as well as some indoor space if you would like to tend to gear. Well-behaved hounds and children are welcome, so long as they are leashed (the hounds, not the children!). We look forward to hosting Glymm Mere's archers, thrown weapon combatants, and all others interested in observing or otherwise passing time in pleasant company with or without garb!

This is the monthly baronial business meeting. The Finance committee meets at 6:30pm, the general meeting starts at 7:00pm.

Officers are required to attend, all members of the barony are welcome. Garb is not required.

This is the weekly Populace Social and practice session for all combat disciplines including Heavy Armored (rattan), Cut and Thrust and Rapier. Spectators are welcome.

The last Wednesday of the month during the Summer (ending Sept) will be a court night and possibly a mini tourney.

Period garb is not required.

Loaner gear is available, contact the Marshal to arrange to borrow something.

We meet near the tennis courts outside or in the outside covered basketball area during inclement weather.

Come one! Come All! The local Society for Creative Anachronism Barony of Glymm Mere is sponsoring a Harvest Fight Practice in the Tourney Style!! We would love to encourage the local public to come see what we in the SCA do as Heavy and Rapier fighters! We will also have folk sharing about music, art, armor, weapons, and more!! Come see what the SCA is all about!!

This will be a round robin style tourney where after each bout the victor will ask the defeated to present a prize to a person in the crowd of the victor's choice! So bring your inspiration along!

The SCA prohibits harassment and bullying of all individuals and groups. Harassment and bullying includes, but is not limited to the following: offensive or lewd verbal comments directed to an individual; the display of explicit images (drawn or photographic) depicting an individual in an inappropriate manner; photographing or recording individuals inappropriately to abuse or harass the individual; inappropriate physical contact; unwelcome sexual attention; or retaliation for reporting harassment and/or bullying. Participants violating these rules are subject to appropriate sanctions. If an individual feels subjected to harassment, bullying or retaliation, they should contact a Seneschal, President of the SCA, or the Kingdom’s Board Ombudsman. If a participant of the SCA becomes aware that someone is being harassed or bullied, they have a responsibility pursuant to the SCA Code of Conduct to come forward and report this behavior to a Seneschal, President of the SCA or Kingdom’s Board Ombudsman.

Autumn War featuring Emprise of the Black Lion

Autumn War is one of the premier events in An Tir with of course war Fighting, equestrian, arts classes and more.

War is Coming.

Please join the Baronies of Blatha an Oir, Madrone, Glymm Mere, and Dragon’s Laire for Autumn War featuring Emprise of the Black Lion.

There will be fighting for all including heavy, rapier, archery and thrown weapons, equestrian, and now the Warfield will include siege weaponry!


Site cost:

$55 Adult full weekend

$40 Adult day

Members receive a $10 discount.

Camping at an additional cost will be available:

Sleeping Tent (whole weekend) $10

Horse stall (per night) $25

RV (per night) $35
